Glympton Herd Walk

On Saturday, the 27th of June, some 34 members of the club gathered to see the impressive Glympton Herd. We were joined by Ben Wilson, the Estate Farm Manager, and Trevor Kirk, Head Stockman, who was assisted by his wife Vanessa.

We spent over 2 hours looking at cattle and were also lucky enough to see much of this lovely Oxfordshire Estate. We were shown all ages of this 95-cow herd, which, with followers, currently runs at about 250 head of cattle. Trevor is, of course, famous for selling Jeremy Clarkson a bull which was featured on Clarkson's Farm.
